Truman State Women’s Basketball Team Shines in 98-83 Victory with Stellar Shooting Performance

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Truman State Women's Basketball team shot nearly 53% from the field and made 33 of 38 free throw attempts in a blistering 98-83 victory over Illinois Springfield on Thursday night at home. Ellie Weltha went over 1,600 career points as she led six Bulldogs in double-figures. Weltha also tied for second in all-time rebounds with 13 on the night and a total of 1084 matching Carol Jarrard's total from 1978-82.
