Brookfield East Girls Basketball Dominates Sheboygan North with 72-18 Victory

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield East’s girls basketball team opened up a 40point halftime lead, coasting to a 72-18 win over Sheboygan North in a WIAA Division 1 regional final Friday. The Spartans (21-4), who are seeded first in their sectional, led 48-8 at intermission. Addison Doyle paced East with 15 points, while Maya Kovacic and Shae Kelley added 14 and 13, respectively. Brookfield East hosts eighth-seeded DSHA today in a regional final. The Spartans swept the season series with the Dashers, including a 59-27 victory on Jan. 30.
