Cornell Athletes Shine at Midwest Conference Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships

RIPON, Wis. – Cornell sophomores Hailey Carolan and Ava Claussen-Tubbs captured their second titles of the weekend during Saturday's conclusion of the Midwest Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Willmore Center. Carolan showcased her versatility by placing in six events over the two days, capped by Saturday's thrilling championship in the 60-meter hurdles. She clocked a personal-best time of 9.39, nosing the runner-up Aleese Trimingham from Illinois College by .01 seconds.
