Zareon Hayes Dominates in HBCU Legacy Bowl as Defensive MVP

NEW ORLEANS | Alabama A&M University senior defensive end Zareon Hayes recorded four sacks as he was selected on Saturday afternoon as the HBCU Legacy Bowl Defensive MVP. Hayes, who was a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) All-Second Team performer, earned the honor for his four-sack performance, despite being on the losing team. The Dillon, S.C. native finished his collegiate career with 97 total tackles, including 47 solo stops.
