Cardinal Newman Clinches NCS Open Division Championship with 61-55 Victory over San Ramon Valley

San Ramon Valley's girls fought and fought and fought to get even with fast-starting Cardinal Newman. They not only caught up early in the fourth quarter, but they also passed the Cardinals. That's when Newman went back inside on its inside-out attack to post a terrific 61-55 North Coast Section Open Division championship victory Saturday at Dublin High School.
