PLNU Track & Field Shines at Rossi Relays with Second Place Finish and Impressive Individual Performances

RESULTS (CLAREMONT, Calif.) PLNU Track & Field placed second out of 13 teams at the Rossi Relays on Saturday in the team's first meet of the season. Katherine Heekin (pole vault) and Anessa Chirgwin (discus) both won individual events in what was a strong opening meet for the Sea Lions. Heekin's vault of 3.65 meters moves her into sixth place in program history, while Chirgwin's mark of 47.30 meters is just behind her program record in the event.
