Smith College Track and Field Shines at New England Division III Championships

BOSTON - Highlighted by record breaking performances in the 4x800meter and mile, the Smith College track and team competed at the New England Division III Championships this afternoon at the Track at New Balance. Meet Highlights Shams Ferver (Barre, VT/U-32), Serena Britner (Hampton, CT/St. Bernard), Megan Varnum (Pullman, Wash./Pullman), and Pria Parker (Hingham, MA/Hingham) broke the indoor 4x800m school record set in 1992 by Alyson Montgomery '92, Monica Bolland '93, Shannon Beausoleil '92, and Jay Hartshorn '95.
