Amiah Murry Shines as GSC Indoor Freshman of the Year for UAH Track & Field Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its 2024 women's indoor track & field season awards on Monday, and the UAH women's track & field team was represented by Amiah Murry as GSC Freshman of the Year. She is the third Charger in program history to be named GSC Indoor Freshman of the Year. A native of Albertville, Alabama, Murry was named the GSC Indoor Championships Most Outstanding Freshman after garnering GSC individual championships in 400 meters and the triple jump in addition to a Second Team All-GSC performance in 200 meters.
