Owen Hopkins Wins WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week with 34-Point Performance

Congratulations to West Albany’s Owen Hopkins for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18. Hopkins, a junior guard on the West Albany team, sank seven 3-pointers on his way to scoring a game-high 34 points for the Bulldogs in their 69-46 victory at Silverton in a Mid-Willamette Conference tilt.
