Tynasia Bunting Breaks Records with 39-Point Performance in Chowan’s Win

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Tynasia Bunting of Chowan Women's Basketball was named Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season announced by the league on Monday afternoon. Bunting, junior from Newport News, Va., led the Hawks with a Chowan single-game program best 39 points going 12-19 from the floor including nine rebounds and six assists. Tynasia broke the single-game record that was held by Chowan Hall of Famers, Talaya Lynch and CC Vaughan, who scored 37 points in a single-game.
