University of Illinois Springfield Track & Field Team Shines at GLVC Championships with Three All-GLVC Athletes

The University of Illinois Springfield track & field team competed at the GLVC Championships over the weekend. Three earned All-GLVC honors with top-three finishes in their respective events, including the first medal for UIS in women’s indoor track & field since 2020. Both teams finished 9th of 12 scoring teams, the women’s team with 15 total points and the men’s team with 21. The Lewis Flyers were the overall champions on both sides.
