Waynesburg Jackets’ Waverly Lorne Shines as PAC Newcomer, Sparking Offensive Surge

TRAFFORD, Pa. (Feb. 26) -- Waverly Lorne (New Providence, N.J. / Governor Livingston) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week for her efforts in the Jackets' first two games of the 2024 season. She notched six goals, 10 ground balls and caused nine turnovers in her first two collegoate lacrosse games. In the season opener with Eastern Mennonite, she scored 4 of the Jackets' 7 goals, snagged eight ground balls and posted seven caused turnovers. At Mt.
