JWU (Providence) Freshman Alexa Lora Shines in GNAC Women’s Basketball All-Rookie Team Selection

WINTHROP, Mass. – JWU (Providence) freshman Alexa Lora has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Basketball All-Rookie Team. Additionally, sophomore Mikayla Caruso was selected to the Sportsmanship Team. A native of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Lora appeared in all 25 games for the Wildcats this season (24 starts) and averaged 11.6 ppg,3.8 rpg, and 2.7 apg. She scored 10-or-more points in 16 contests this past season, highlighted by a season-high 23 points at New England College on February 10 and a 21-point outburst against eventual conference champion St. Joseph's (ME) on January 10.
