Kirk Cousins’ free agency: 5 landing spots for veteran QB
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have an incredibly tough decision to make on Cousins. He’s 35 years old and is coming off of a significant injury, but he was also having a career year to start 2023 which followed a Pro Bowl campaign in 2022 where he led Minnesota to an NFC North title. Should the Vikings move on from Cousins, they may be looking at taking a quarterback with the 10th overall pick in the draft as neither Nick Mullens, Joshua Dobbs or Jaren Hall appeared to be the answer last season. Bringing back Cousins would likely mean the Vikings remain competitive for at least the next couple of seasons as he is a good fit in Kevin O’Connell’s system. It may also give Minnesota its best shot at retaining superstar wideout Justin Jefferson.
