FLORENCE, SC – For the second time this month, Francis Marion University senior post player Lauryn Taylor has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, this time for the week of Feb. 19-25. It marks the eighth time this season the Blythewood, S.C., native has garnered a weekly award from the conference. Taylor, 5-11, averaged 18.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in two contests.
