Legendary Harding Basketball Star Butch Gardner Selected for Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Induction

SEARCY – Harding University will be celebrating Butch Gardner's selection for induction into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday night, during halftime of Harding's men's basketball game against Arkansas-Monticello. The game is scheduled to tip-off around 7:30 p.m., and everyone is invited to join in celebrating Butch Gardner and Harding's seniors. The 2023-24 season marks the 50th anniversary of Gardner's freshman year at Harding. Over his four-year career from 1973 to 1977, he earned All-Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference honors four times and was selected as an All-American three times.
