Maranell Named NACC Field Athlete of the Week

DE PERE – St. Norbert College freshman Eden Maranell has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, announced today by the conference office. Maranell, a Howards Grove native, was named Field Athlete of the Meet and Freshman of the Year at the NACC Indoor Championship in Stevens Point this past weekend. Maranell won the triple jump (37 feet 7 3/4 inches), placed second in the pentathlon (2,963 points), fourth in the high jump (5-1 1/4) and fifth in the 200 (26.62).
