The Verona boys hockey team’s postseason run came up short after a 2-0 loss to Middleton in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Verona Ice Arena. The Wildcats were Big Eight Conference co-champions with the Cardinals. The two teams had split two games during the regular season.
