Adapted floor hockey team going to state
NEW BRIGHTON — Jak Okumo had 5 goals and an assist to help the Mankato co-ed adapted floor hockey team defeat Mounds View 8-1 to claim the program's first state tournament berth. Davaris Woods added 2 goals and 3 assists for the Knights (6-4), in their third-season as a program. Jamari Hampton had a goal, and Lilly Maas added an assist. Taylor Tokheim made 15 saves and set a team record for fewest goals allowed on a game. This state tournament is March 8-9 at Coon Rapids High School. The Free Press
