Howard named to All-SUNYAC second team

POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Potsdam graduate student basketball player Jakia Howard (Syracuse, N.Y./Nottingham) has been named to the All-State University of New York Athletic Conference second team for the 2023-24 season. It's her second straight all-conference selection. Howard led the Bears and was second in the SUNYAC in scoring with a career-high 17.0 points-per-game. She was also fourth in the league in rebounding at 9.1 rebounds-per-game. The forward registered 12 double-doubles in 23 games.
