L’Jarius Sneed allowed to seek trade; 5 landing spots for CB
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (BVM) – Despite the Kansas City Chiefs preparing to use the franchise tag on him, cornerback L’Jarius Sneed may still find himself on the move this offseason. Reports came out Wednesday that the Chiefs informed Sneed that they are prepared to use the franchise tag on him, but “are open to consummate a trade off it if no long-term deal is reached.”

If a long-term deal cannot be reached, Sneed will instantly become one of the most sought-after players available in the league. Given his strong performance in Kansas City over the past four years, it is highly likely that a team will make a hard push to acquire the cornerback if he’s on the trade block.
