L’Jarius Sneed allowed to seek trade; 5 landing spots for CB

Las Vegas Raiders

Another former Spagnuolo assistant is Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham who served as the New York Giants defensive line coach from 2016-17. With starting cornerback Amik Robertson entering free agency, Las Vegas also has a hole to fill in its secondary.

The Raiders finished the year ranked No. 12 in passing defense last season, so losing a starter would be a massive loss. However, given the surprisingly positive play of cornerback Jack Jones and the solid contributions of nickel Nate Hobbs, the Las Vegas secondary could be one piece away from being one of the most elite in the league. The Raiders also have the cap space to make the move with over $51 million, which makes sense why they’re interested in the corner. But, the biggest issue would be if the Chiefs would be willing to give one of their best players to a division rival, that seems like a stretch.
