The Fighting Falcons Survive the Bobcats
West Virginia Wesleyan College hosted the No. 5 team in the conference, Fairmont State University, and lost 81-73 on Wednesday in Buckhannon. Wesleyan shot an impressive 54 percent from the field but couldn't come up with clutch shots to give it the advantage over the Falcons. The Bobcats' leading scorer Deiker Padrino had a solid performance, putting up 23 points, and shot 57 percent from the field.
