Top 10 Washington HS baseball players in Class of 2024
8. Matthew Henning, OF, West Seattle
Henning is one of several versatile two-way players on this list who has been starring in the state of Washington going back to his little league days when he won two state championships. Since then, the outfielder and pitcher has been tremendous at West Seattle High School. Last season, Henning led the Wildcats to the state semifinals as he threw a postseason no-hitter against Stadium High School. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound standout also had a nice summer with Elevate Northwest where he showed a lot of pop in his bat. That should continue this spring at West Seattle and as he stays home for his collegiate baseball career at Washington.
