Lewis Scores 1,000th Career Point in FPU’s Final Game of the Season

FRESNO, Calif.- Avery Lewis scored his 1,000 th career point in his final collegiate game as the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds (7-20 overall, 5-15 PacWest) fell 70-58 to the Azusa Pacific Cougars (11-16 overall, 10-10 PacWest) closing the season Saturday afternoon in the Special Events Center. Lewis' bucket came in the final five minutes to cap a special career in which he concluded with his graduate season in Fresno.
