NORMAL, ILLINOIS – The Lincoln Railsplitters captured their first Illinois girls basketball championship with a 60-44 win over Chatham Glenwood on Saturday at CEFCU Arena. Colorado State signee Kloe Froebe scored 36 points and added six assists, five rebounds and four steals to help Lincoln (38-0) finish its undefeated season. The senior guard made 11 of her 18 field-goal attempts and knocked down 14 of 19 free throw tries. Becca Heitzig added 13 points and five rebounds for the Railsplitters.
