Nevada cruises to district championship game

Nevada handled Harrisonville on Thursday night in the Class 4 District 13 semifinals 75-56 to advance to the championship game at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Hill at Pleasant Hill High School. That championship game pits the second-seeded Tigers against No. 1 seed St. Michael the Archangel. The two teams met Dec. 12 in the Butler Tournament, where the Guardians won 61-41.
