Statesmen Defeat Wolves on Senior Day

CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Statesmen picked up a big home win on Saturday to defeat the top-seeded West Georgia Wolves for their fifth-straight win. Delta State also celebrated seniors Lee Cotton, Maalik Cartwright, and Kelen Dietrich in a pregame ceremony. Delta State led 39-36 a the the half despite a 57.1 percent shooting performance from the Wolves. The Statesmen forced ten turnovers in the first half and scored eleven points off of them.
