Women’s Hoops take Defeat to Conference Leading Fairfield

RIVERDALE, NY - Manhattan women's basketball fell short, 77-53 at home today against conference leading Fairfield. Manhattan falls to 17-10 overall and 10-8 in league play, while Fairfield jumps to 26-1 and 18-0 in the MAAC. Manhattan was led by Ines Gimenez Monserrat who contributed 13 points and five rebounds for the Jaspers. Leyla Ozturk added 11 for Manhattan.
