Women’s lacrosse falls on the road
Raleigh, N.C. -- The Lynchburg women's lacrosse team suffered a narrow 13-11 loss on the road at Meredith on Saturday. The Avenging Angels started the game hot, leading 3-1 halfway through the first quarter. Lynchburg quickly responded with goals from Sydney Dumas and Neely Morris leveling the score. The Avenging Angels regained and extended their lead throughout the quarter, ending with a three-goal advantage. The Hornets started the second period on the attack, cutting the lead to just one goal.
