Blue Devils Topple Loggers 61-40 to Advance to Sweet 16

WAUKESHA - The Blue Devil women's basketball team advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen with a 61-40 won over Puget Sound Saturday night at Van Male Fieldhouse. Raegan Sorensen tallied her 15th double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Anna Mutch scored 12 points, six assists and three steals. Amanda Giesen scored 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists. The Blue Devils shot 44.4 percent and held Puget Sound 16-66 from the field with a stingy defense that forced four shot clock violations and 16 turnovers.
