Men’s Basketball Defeats GCSU in Overtime
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Columbus State University men's basketball team defeated Peach Belt Conference rival Georgia College State University 83-81 in overtime Sunday afternoon. The Cougars end the regular-season with a 15-12 (9-9 PBC) record. The Cougars went into halftime with a 37-35 lead over the Bobcats, but GCSU outscored CSU 39-37 in the second half to force overtime. Both teams were neck-and-neck throughout the five minute bonus, but with 45 seconds left, Kordell Brown was sent to the free-throw line.
