Akal, Pocknett take final Conference Carolinas Players of the Week

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's basketball team swept the Conference Carolinas final weekly awards of the season. Jordan Akal took home offensive player of the week honors while Mikhail Pocknett earned the defensive player of the week award. Akal was spectacular in the season finale against rival Lees-McRae College. He poured in a career-high 36 points on 10-for-19 shooting, including 7-for-15 from long range.
