Defensive Effort Not Enough as Delaware State Falls to Howard 61-43
WASHINGTON, DC --The Delaware State women's basketball team kept Howard to just 10 percent from 3-point range in a 2-for-20 shooting performance, but fell 61-43 to the Bison on the road Monday. The Hornets (8-18, 4-9) had two players score in double figures, led by Ja-Naiah Perkins-Jackson, who had 12 points. Savannah Brooks added 11 points and two steals and Deyonce Thompson added six points, nine rebounds and four steals.
