Iona Golf Competes In Daytona Beach Intercollegiate

DELAND, FL - The Iona men's golf program completed btoh round one & two of the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate host by Stetson at LPGA International Golf Club in DeLand, FL. After two round the Gaels shot 40-over as a team, they are currently in ninth place out of 14 teams. The LPGA International Coruse is a par 72 that plays at just over 7,000 yards. Other schools competeing inculdes; Jacksonville State, Longwoods, Troy, Niagara, Queens, Oakland, Charleston Southern, George Mason, FAMU, Purde Fort Wayne, Villanova, and Northern Kentucky.
