AIKEN, S.C. – Senior Mitchell Vance and sophomore Pake June led Francis Marion University to a 12th-place team standing after the opening day of USC Aiken's Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate Tournament on Monday (March 3). The 54-hole event will conclude on Tuesday at the par 70, 6,617 yard Palmetto Golf Club course. Francis Marion carded rounds of 294 and 297 for a 591 team tally after 36 holes.
