Pittman named HBCU National Player of the Week for second time this season
By: James Garcia, Sports Information Director FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. -- West Virginia State's Anthony Pittman has been named HBCU National Player of the Week for the second time this year after averaging a double-double last week. Pittman, a fifth-year forward from Charleston, W. Va., averaged 25.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals while shooting 50 percent from the field and 95 percent from the free throw line (20-of-21) in two games played last week.
