WOOD, VISKARI CAPTURE A-10 WEEKLY AWARDS

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU's hot spring start has its rewards. Freshmen Grayson Wood (Fredericksburg, Va.) and Veikka Viskari (Vierumäki, Finland) were named Atlantic 10 Conference Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, by the league Monday. The duo has helped fuel a pair of February VCU victories and the Rams' climb up the Scoreboard NCAA Rankings. Wood claimed his first career victory when he shot 75-67-69 in early February at the Los Vaqueros Intercollegiate in Cancun, Mexico.
