Azallion posts runner-up finish at Palmetto Intercollegiate
AIKEN, S.C. – Virginia Tech fifth-year student Daniel Azallion carded a 2-under 208 to tie for second at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at the par-70, 6,617-yard Palmetto Golf Club. Azallion was one of three Hokies to place inside the top 20 of the individual leaderboard. Tech finished fifth as a team at 24-over 864 (283-291-290). A native of Hilton Head Island, S.C., Azallion carded five birdies – including four in a row – on holes 10-18 to grab ahold of the individual lead.
