Davis Named Second Team All-GSC

CARROLLTON, Ga. – For the first time in seven years, a UWG women's basketball player has been named to the All-Gulf South Conference team. Junior guard Zuriyah Davis earned a Second Team nod as announced by the conference on Tuesday. Davis, a native of Sugar Hill, Georgia, was one of the top scorers in the GSC all season long, finishing the regular season third at 16.2 points per game. Davis scored in double-figures in 22 games this season and eclipsed 20 points in nine contests. Her season-high of 29 came in a road win over a ranked North Georgia team....
