Ellie Brueggemann Earns OVC All-Conference Honors

On Tuesday, the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) released its all-conference teams and Ellie Brueggemann of the Lindenwood women's basketball team earned a spot on the second team and newcomer squad. Brueggemann had an outstanding freshman campaign, starting in all 28 contests. The Owasso, Okla. native paced the team, averaging 13.8 points per game, while scoring in double figures during 24 games. She also shot 92.3 percent from the charity stripe during the season, while pulling down 3.2 boards and dishing out 1.1 assists per game.
