Hobbs Has Career Low, Women’s Golf Grinds at Day 1 Of Vaquero Invitational
McALLEN, Texas - The Texas Southern women's golf team posted a season-low opening round on day one of the Vaquero Invitational hosted by The University of Texas Rio Grande Monday. The Tigers are in 10th place after day one with senior Ashlie Hobbs leading the way individually, tied in 13th place. Hobbs carded a 2-over 144 (76-68) with her second round being a career-low, 3-under par 68 which included four birdies, 13 pars, and a single bogey.
