Jackson Named SWAC Women’s Basketball Impact Player of the Week

By: Curtis Ford BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Jazmyne Jackson has been named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women's Basketball Impact Player of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday. Jackson, a sophomore from Aubrey, Texas, had a sensational week for the Tigers. Last week, she averaged 18.0 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 1.5 steals. She scored a career-high 24 points with a pair of rebounds and a steal in GSU's 65-54 win over Florida A&M on Saturday.
