Kane Named GSC Player of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UWF graduate Brooke Kane was named the Gulf South Conference women's basketball player of the week on Tuesday. Brooke Kane averaged 19 points on 60 percent shooting to go along with eight rebounds in victories over Alabama Huntsville and West Alabama. The forward from Derry, New Hampshire poured in a game-high 20 points on Senior Day following an 18-point effort two days earlier. She eclipsed the 1,000-point mark against UAH and now has 1,011 points from her time at New Hampshire and UWF. This is her first weekly award and the second for an Argonaut this season....
