Men’s golf opens play at Peoples Golf Championship Thursday

SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Bellarmine men's golf team opens play at the Peoples Golf Championship on the Georgia coast Thursday morning. The three-day event, hosted by Western Carolina, takes place at the 6,664-yard, par 71 Sea Palms Golf Club. Kash Albarado , Luke Bischoff , Hudson Hummel , Frankie Morgan and August Johnson will start for the Knights. Hummel finished tied for ninth at 2-under-par 72 during the World Golf Village Collegiate two weeks ago in the Knights' last action. Bellarmine finished tied for sixth among 18 teams in the event.
