Chayton Bynes Wins RMAC Co-Freshman of the Year in Indoor Track & Field

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Chayton Bynes , a sophomore from Chadron, Nebraska, was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Co-Freshman of the Year, the conference office announced on Thursday. Bynes and Miller Jones of Colorado Mesa split the award after both performing exceptionally in the jumps. Bynes finished second at the RMAC Championships by uncorking a jump of 15.09 meters (49′ 6.25), ranking him 19 th in the nation.
