Kimble Selected SSC Freshman of the Year
MELBOURNE, Fla. - Following a breakout rookie campaign George Kimble has been selected the Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year, as announced by the conference on Thursday, March 7. He also received All-SSC Third Team accolades after leading Eckerd to the SSC Tournament for the first time since 2018-19. Kimble, a point guard from Tampa, Florida, is just the second freshman of the year in program history, following Jerrick Stevenson in 2012-13.
