Millikin freshman Kyle Hensley (Mt. Zion, H.S.) is the 2024 National Champion in the Men's Pole Vault at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 8 at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Hensley shattered his own school record clearing 5.18 meters or 17-0 feet. Hensley was the only vaulter to clear the distance and had fewer misses than everyone in the field.
