Mavericks finish Arizona swing with a second place finish

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Colorado Mesa women's golf team capped off a solid start to the spring season as they placed second at the Southwest Minnesota State Challenge on Friday (Mar. 8) at Wigwam Golf Club's Blue Course. The Mavericks shot a 23-over, 311 to finish the tournament at 44-over, 620 and finished just one stroke behind team champion Minnesota State who shot a two-round score of 619 (16-over on Friday).
