Roland finishes 14th in women’s 400m, sets second-best TAMUK all-time mark

PITTSBURG, Kansas - The Texas A&M-Kingsville track & field teams have wrapped up day one of competition at the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships, hosted by Pittsburg State at the Robert W. Plaster Center. Melanie Roland was the lone Javelina taking part in day one of the championships, competing in the preliminary round of the women's 400 meters. Coming into the event 20th in the nation in the event, Roland recorded a time of 55.14, finishing in 14th place.
